From the extraordinary Bangarra Dance Theatre comes 'Illume', a magical theatrical experience that combines music, visual arts and dance to captivate the audience with Indigenous cultural existence.
As the world is now polluted with artificial light, it's hard for First Nations people's to connect to sky country and share their generational knowledge, and so Frances Rings and Darrell Sibosado's collaboration aims to explore the bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds - it is urgent and dark, and questions the strength of such powerful wisdom in illuminating a path forward.
